The Albert Place PracticeIn November 2009, Steve Paine, OMD, merged his practice with Albert Place Practice. Steve endorses the practitioners and client service orientation of Albert Place Practice wholeheartedly. The Albert Place Practice clinic, specialising in Chinese Medicine, was opened in London in the late 1980s by Clair Beardson. The practice proved highly successful and in 1999 a second practice was opened in Hong Kong. Albert Place has a number of certified Chinese medical doctors who, together, bring a wide range of experience. They specialise in many areas, including diabetes, fertility and skin problems. The practice also has a highly trained nutritionist, Raymond Chung. The philosophy is to educate and empower all the patients who come to the Practice and to assist them with their health and healing. Albert Place is also keen to promote the benefits of using TCM in the maintenance of good health, balancing the emotional, physical and spiritual aspects, leading to a more joyful and balanced life. In 2006, Albert Place was invited by the Mandarin Hotel group to share its experience - through the creation of treatments to be provided in the spas and through making available hand-picked and experienced Chinese doctors to the hotels' guests. The Practice has designed some special treatments especially for the Mandarin group. These are ideal for weary travellers and guests who would like to rebalance and strengthen their immune system.
